Congratulations to all! At last we managed to achieve our goals! I would like to sincerely thank each and everyone of you for all the sacrifices and hard work that you have put in! You all are just so amazing! I still remember the day when I visited rag area a day after last year's rag... I looked at the plane and told myself that I will bring back everything (or more) from Sheares. Today, we have done it. It would not have been possible without all your sacrifices, tears, blood, sweat and more. I thank you all again. Each and every effort from you all is truly invaluable. I am superbly lucky that I was able to work with such a great team!
When the results were being announced yesterday, I really dunno why I did not get the magnitude of happiness that I thought I should get. Hmmm... really have to ponder on this. It is not that I never sacrifice. It is not that I didn't put in effort. Hmmm... just dunno why. Haha. BUT that aside, I am very very glad that all of you are happy and satisfied with the result! That is important to me =). What I really hope now is really to see Kent Ridge Hall rag to keep flourishing. I really dun want to see next year's team to win just the least cost award. I will be very sad. That is the LAST thing I want to see. I want Kent Ridge Hall rag to always be 'ZAI and FUN'. As such, I really hope that some of you all who have gone through this process to replicate what we have done this year or create something which is much much much better. Yep, this is in line with what I have mentioned before and that is SENIOR RAGGERS in the team is VERY IMPORTANT!!! I would like to let you all know that I am very willing share all the valueable experience that I have gained throughout this 3 months. Please never hasistate to talk to me should you need any opinions or ideas pertaining to Rag Committee. I want to see next year's team to win! Yes... I want to see next year's team to WIN!
And yes... top positions in the committee is very important. Weliam, Zhao Yuan and Jeffery has really done an excellent job as heads. With them, the committee functioned really well. And tell you all one more thing. The stress level that they have to face is EXTREMELY HIGH． Ｉ ｔｈｉｎｋ ｔｈｅｙ ｒｅａｌｌｙ ｈａｎｄｌｅｄ ｔｈｅ ｓｔｒｅｓｓ ｌｅｖｅｌ ｖｅｒｙ ｗｅｌｌ． Ｈａｖｉｎｇ ｓａｉｄ ｔｈａｔ， Ｉ ｗｏｕｌｄ ｌｉｋｅ ｔｏ urge you all to ｈａｖｅ ａ ｖｅｒｙ ｖｅｒｙ ｖｅｒｙ ｓｔｒｏｎｇ ｐｕｒｐｏｓｅ ｉｆ ｙｏｕ ｗｉｓｈ ｔｏ ｇｏ ｆｏｒ ｔｈｅ ｔｏｐ ｐｏｓｉｔｉｏｎｓ ｉｎ ｔｈｅ ｃｏｍｍｉｔｔｅｅ． The strong purpose that you have will KEEP YOU GOING when things get tough. If you can't find a strong purpose of going for the top positions, I would advice you not to do it. Yep...
Yep, as mentioned by Yee Cheng during out last debrief, please keep in touch with one another as I think we will have a lot things to reminisce when we come together to have meals and whatsoever. YEP PLEASE KEEP IN TOUCH!!! The softcopy of our contact list is in the google groups!!! Haha...
