today just had a sudden urge to blog while i was studying for final exam.. Went to lunch and accidentally met up with wei jie-kronos dance choreo and we chit chatted for a little more than an hour. We basically just talked about rag and his year of rag was a sucess with each departments comin together to complement one another. There was conflicts at times but mostly it's for the good of the overall picture and every single one of us will have to be receptive and willing to listen to ideas. Rag is a process for everyone to learn and grow, learning how to solve problems and learning how to better interact with one another as well as compromise. He told me tat from day1, their goal was to hav a float that is good/ better to compete against the best on rag day and obviously trash them. In order to do so, every department must really work towards same goal and objective with no one single department let the others down.
As most seniors told me b4 float design must be good, engineers must do their best in giving a float with cladding based on the designer's finalised idea and choreo and presenters must be puttin in 100% of effort in making sure that ultimately our presentation is a bang, representing the blood and sweat of all raggers and hall residents. i hope that this year will be the same as well with everyone of us contributin the most we have cos mayb with a little extra effort by everyone, dissapointment could be avoided- be it whether we win or not so that the process should be one tat will be remembered forever with all of us puttin our heart in. Since everyone here has decided to join, let's all make an effort to put in our heart n soul for it- at least for the comin 3 months............
